Over the last few months several people have asked this question at the end of a free, no obligation consultation, or at a review where no extra treatment was needed:
“You sure I don’t owe you anything for your time?”
My answer is always “absolutely not”
So I thought I’d best share my reasoning behind this business decision.
I could charge £20, £50, maybe more for a consultation 💷
I could take that off any subsequent treatment costs
I could… but I don’t
Why?
I don’t believe there should be a paywall to asking an opinion on a treatment 🤷♀️
Some consultations last just 10 minutes as there is a clear contraindication.
Ethically I cannot justify charging for that.
Some consultations take an hour as we talk about several treatment options. That is the nature of the job.
But that is why I love it what I do 💖
By keeping things simple means I am free to say ‘no’ if treatment is not appropriate, or I am not the right practitioner for you.
No obligation applies to both parties.
Plus… I really hate paperwork- I’d much rather use that time to enjoy a coffee!
