Skin quality and hydration

Sunekos is an injectable treatment designed to improve the appearance and quality of the skin.

It combines hyaluronic acid with a specific combination of amino acids and is used as part of a skin-focused approach to aesthetic treatment.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sunekos is not primarily used to create facial volume or alter the shape of the face.

Instead, it may be considered where the aim is to improve aspects of skin quality such as hydration, texture and the appearance of fine lines.

How does Sunekos work?

Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid and amino acids in a formulation designed for injection into the skin.

The treatment is intended to support improvements in the skin's appearance and hydration.

It is different from a traditional dermal filler because the aim is not to create significant structural volume or change the shape of your features.

Individual results vary and depend on factors including your skin, age, lifestyle and the area being treated.

Which areas can be treated?

Sunekos may be considered for selected areas including:

Under eye area

The delicate skin around the eyes can be treated in carefully selected clients where the aim is to improve skin quality and hydration.

Under eye treatment requires particular care and isn't suitable for everyone.

Face

Treatment may be considered where the aim is to improve the appearance of dehydrated, dull or finely lined skin.

Neck and décolletage

Sunekos may be used as part of a skin quality treatment plan for the neck and décolletage.

Other areas

Depending on the individual circumstances treatment may also be considered for selected areas of the body.

Sunekos 200 & Sunekos 1200

I currently offer Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200.

The different formulations have different characteristics and may be selected according to the treatment area and intended treatment goal.

The most appropriate option for you will be discussed during your consultation.

What results can I expect?

Sunekos is intended to produce gradual improvements in skin quality, rather than a dramatic change in facial appearance.

You may notice improvements in the hydration and overall appearance of the treated skin, but results vary considerably between individuals.

Treatment results cannot be guaranteed and a course of treatment is often recommended rather than a single appointment.

How many treatments will I need?

A course of approximately four treatments spaced 7–10 days apart may be recommended, depending on your individual treatment plan.

Maintenance treatment may subsequently be considered, often at intervals of approximately 4–6 months, depending on your response and treatment goals.

Your treatment schedule will be personalised rather than automatically following a standard protocol.

Supplements should not be considered a replacement for a balanced diet, and suitability will depend on your individual circumstances.

Safety and suitability

Sunekos is an injectable treatment and therefore carries risks.

Possible side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary discomfort at the injection sites.

More significant complications are possible with injectable treatments and will be discussed during your consultation.

Your medical history, medications, allergies and previous aesthetic treatments will be considered before treatment.

If I don't believe Sunekos is appropriate for you I will advise you not to proceed.

Your consultation

A face to face consultation is required before treatment.

We'll discuss your skin concerns, expectations and medical history and assess whether Sunekos is appropriate for you.

We can also discuss alternative options, including skincare, chemical peels, skinboosters, polynucleotides or choosing not to have an injectable treatment.

Treatment is not carried out during the initial consultation. A cooling off period gives you time to consider your options before deciding whether to proceed.

There is no obligation to have treatment.
