THAT’S WHERE I STEP IN.

When I started my own aesthetics career in 2017 there were so many things I wish I’d known. The various academies offered support afterwards, but some questions felt 'silly'.

Did I miss that part?

Should I have written that down?

What was the name they mentioned?

So many conversations I wish I’d had.  So many questions I wish I’d just asked.

Not because I needed someone to tell me exactly what to do, but because having a trusted, experienced person to talk things through with would have made those early years SO much easier.

 

That’s why I created Angel Aesthetics Peer Support & Mentoring.

A confidential, informal space where you can talk through the realities of starting out in aesthetics with someone who understands them. Someone who has been there. Someone to help point you in the right direction.

Someone you can ask the 'silly' questions to (there is no such thing as a silly question by the way- honestly!)

Someone who will listen, share their own experiences, help you explore your options and support you in finding your own way.

 

THIS ISN’T A TRAINING COURSE.

I’m not here to tell you what treatments you should offer.

I’m not here to tell you how to run your clinic.

And I’m not here to give you a list of rules to follow.

Your practice is your practice. Your decisions are your decisions.

My role is to provide a safe, confidential sounding board where you can talk things through, reflect, ask questions and build your confidence and independence.

Think of it as having someone in your corner. Someone on your side. Someone cheering you on.

 

TWO MORE MENTORING SPACES AVAILABLE FROM OCTOBER 2026 

When I started out I deliberately kept my mentoring spaces small so that I could focus on providing the 1:1 support mentees needed, and give each person the time and attention they deserved.

I’m excited to announce that I have 2 more mentoring spaces available for doctors in the early stages of their aesthetics career - especially those first 5 years.

Your monthly mentoring package includes:

• Two 60 minute 1:1 video (or telephone) mentoring calls
• WhatsApp support throughout the month
• Informal, confidential and tailored support
• A safe space to ask questions and talk things through

Investment - £250 a month

Although mentoring is recommended for a minimum of three months initially - so that we have time to build a meaningful mentoring relationship you're not committing to 6 or 12 months of mentoring. You can pay per month, continue if you wish... Have a month off... Come back for a month...

Every mentoring relationship is different because your needs are different.

We might talk about:

• Reviewing enquiries and treatment considerations
• Talking through challenging situations
• Case based discussions
• Decision making and managing uncertainty
• Preparing for your first clients
• Knowing when to pause, seek further advice or say no
• How to say 'no'

STARTING OUT

• Choosing insurance that's right for you
• Finding a pharmacy that works for you
• Finding a clinic space and the questions to ask before renting a room
• Clinic systems and checklists
• Documentation and record keeping
• Reflecting on your experiences and goals (and adding this to your CPD)
• Signposting relevant training, education and industry updates

THE QUESTIONS YOU JUST WANT TO ASK SOMEONE

Sometimes it’s not a big question. It's...

“Can I just run this past you?”

“Can I just ask what you think?”

“Can I just tell you what happened?”

“Can I just check if this has happened to you”

Those conversations really matter.

 

SUPPORT BETWEEN SESSIONS

The support doesn’t stop when our call ends.

You’ll also have WhatsApp support throughout your mentoring period for those questions, thoughts and situations that crop up between sessions.

For example:

“I’ve had a 50 year old potential client asking about her ‘turkey neck’ - how would you approach this?”

Or:

“I’ve seen a treatment online that looks interesting... where could I start looking for reliable information that isn't just trying to get me to buy another course?"

Sometimes you just need a quick conversation to help you work out your next step.

WHY PEER MENTORING?

Starting out in aesthetics can feel isolating, especially if you have worked in a hospital or GP surgery before. You feel ok with the treatment part, but suddenly you’re navigating pharmacies, insurance, premises, paperwork, patients, complications, expectations, business decisions and all the little things nobody really covered in your course.

Social media can make aesthetics look effortless.

The reality is very different.

You don’t need someone with all the answers.

You need someone who has walked the path, knows where to start looking and who will walk alongside you to work it out.

Everyone deserves to have someone for those “Can I just…” questions.

 

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’m Heather, a GMC registered doctor and owner of Angel Aesthetics.

I started working in aesthetics in 2017 and have gradually built my own aesthetics practice alongside my other medical roles.

I have won several industry awards, including Female Boss Awards 'Ultimate Aesthetics Practitioner of the Year' 2026 and GB Beauty Awards 'Aesthetician of the Year' 2025 & 2024.

I know what it feels like to start something new, make decisions without having all the answers and learn through experience- the hard way!

I created this mentoring programme because I know how valuable it can be to have someone you can simply talk to.

Terms & Conditions:

Due to insurance restrictions mentoring is only available for GMC registered doctors.

Payment is due in full at the start of each month's mentoring period. Recommended min. 3 months mentoring.

A mentoring contract must be signed by both parties before any support begins. This includes conflict of interest, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

WhatsApp support is intended for non urgent mentoring queries and should be used respectfully and within reasonable limits.

Geographical Exclusivity

To protect the confidential nature and commercial value of the mentoring relationship, Angel Aesthetics does not provide mentoring to aesthetic practitioners whose primary clinical base is located within a 20 mile radius of Angel Aesthetics. This restriction applies for the duration of the mentoring relationship.
