Treatment timing πŸ’‰β˜€οΈπŸ–οΈπŸ’ŠπŸ’

An important reminder- for safety reasons there are several key things that we need to be kept updated on please.

This is especially important if you are a regular client rebooking, or if it has been a few weeks since your consultation.

Aesthetics treatments need to be carefully planned, and sometimes that may mean your treatment needs to be rearranged.

Frustrating- yes. Safer- 100%.

Sometimes these issues may not be realised until your appointment- that’s ok too. Life happens- we understand.

Why do these factors matter?

We’d much rather rebook an appointment than treat a preventable complication.

Complications can occur with any treatment, but some factors can increase the risk.

These risks include an increased chance of swelling, bruising, infection, localised reactions, product not staying where placed…

We will always review you if you have concerns after treatment, but that is much harder if you are in another country for example.

Be safe. Be honest. If in doubt, please just ask πŸ’–

Key considerations:

✈️ Travel- flying, cruises, going away- UK or abroad…

β˜€οΈ Tanning – sun exposure, tanning beds, sunburn, spray tans…

πŸ’„ Beauty or aesthetics treatments- laser treatment, microneedling, SPMU…

🍼 Pregnancy, breastfeeding, IVF, trying to conceive…

🍾 Events coming up- weddings, parties…

πŸ’Š Medication changes- changing doses, starting or stopping meds, injections, infusions, vaccinations, HRT …

πŸ₯ Medical changes- hospital attendances, dental work, admissions, anaesthetic or sedation, planned procedures, newly diagnosed conditions…

😷 Infections & Inflammation- COVID, chest infections, urine infections, skin infections, flare up of chronic illnesses…

We have a duty of care and reserve the right to refuse treatment if we feel there is an increased risk of complications.Β

Deliberate withholding or non disclosure of such information may result in cessation of treatment and future treatment.Β
