An important reminder- for safety reasons there are several key things that we need to be kept updated on please.
This is especially important if you are a regular client rebooking, or if it has been a few weeks since your consultation.
Aesthetics treatments need to be carefully planned, and sometimes that may mean your treatment needs to be rearranged.
Frustrating- yes. Safer- 100%.
Sometimes these issues may not be realised until your appointment- thatβs ok too. Life happens- we understand.
Why do these factors matter?
Weβd much rather rebook an appointment than treat a preventable complication.
Complications can occur with any treatment, but some factors can increase the risk.
These risks include an increased chance of swelling, bruising, infection, localised reactions, product not staying where placedβ¦
We will always review you if you have concerns after treatment, but that is much harder if you are in another country for example.
Be safe. Be honest. If in doubt, please just ask π
Key considerations:
βοΈ Travel- flying, cruises, going away- UK or abroadβ¦
βοΈ Tanning – sun exposure, tanning beds, sunburn, spray tansβ¦
π Beauty or aesthetics treatments- laser treatment, microneedling, SPMUβ¦
πΌ Pregnancy, breastfeeding, IVF, trying to conceiveβ¦
πΎ Events coming up- weddings, partiesβ¦
π Medication changes- changing doses, starting or stopping meds, injections, infusions, vaccinations, HRT β¦
π₯ Medical changes- hospital attendances, dental work, admissions, anaesthetic or sedation, planned procedures, newly diagnosed conditionsβ¦
π· Infections & Inflammation- COVID, chest infections, urine infections, skin infections, flare up of chronic illnessesβ¦
We have a duty of care and reserve the right to refuse treatment if we feel there is an increased risk of complications.Β
Deliberate withholding or non disclosure of such information may result in cessation of treatment and future treatment.Β
