You may have seen the recent news stories about COVID-19 increasing again in England, with UKHSA reporting rising levels of infection and hospital admissions. COVID hasn’t disappeared – and neither have any of the other infections we encounter throughout the year.
But here’s the thing…
At Angel Aesthetics infection control isn’t something we switch on when there’s a viral headline (see what we did there 🤣 – that wasn’t even Chat GPT!)
It’s part of what we do.
Every. Single. Clinic.
So yes, we will still ask you to use hand sanitiser when you arrive.
And yes, we still check your temperature.
And yes, again, if you’re unwell we will ask you to reschedule.
Because these are the very visible and very small parts of our infection control policy.
And honestly?
If the 10 second hand gel and temperature check are enough to make you say “oh, are we STILL doing this?”… you probably wouldn’t enjoy hearing about the rest of our infection control policies.
Because behind the scenes there is a lot more going on – to protect us all.

🧴 Appropriate cleaning and disinfection of treatment areas and equipment
🧤 PPE where clinically appropriate
🗑️ Correct clinical waste and sharps disposal
🦠 Infection prevention procedures for in-clinic treatments
🤒 Clear policies around attending clinic when unwell
✨ And a whole lot of attention to detail that you probably never even notice
And that’s exactly how it should be.
