We offer a wide range of treatment options to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. We specialise in natural looking aesthetics.

One option is the use of botulinum toxin ‘Botox’. We use the brand Azzalure. This is a naturally occurring protein which is used for both medical and aesthetic treatments. This is a prescription only medication and therefore a face to face consultation must be conducted before any treatment can be agreed for new clients. 

The botulinum toxin works by blocking chemical messages sent from the nerve to the muscle causing contractions. As a result, the muscle cannot contract as much and so will remain in a ‘resting state’ for 8-12 weeks, until the ‘chemical messengers’ recover. Due to the nature of action, botulinum toxin can only act on lines which occur with expression, rather than static lines. Regular treatment is required to maintain optimal results (usually every 3-5 months).

Factual Information

"Botox" is a neurotoxin derived from Clostridium botulinum, an organism found in the natural environment where it is largely inactive and non-toxic. Botulinum toxin is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the underlying muscles

You must have a face to face consultation with the prescriber before you can have this treatment.

All new Angel Aesthetics clients need a face to face consultation, followed by a 24 hour cooling off period, before any treatment can proceed. This is essential and our policy, even if you have had the same treatment elsewhere.

We will provide you with the relevant links, leaflets & information to ensure you can give informed consent to treatment.

All of our documents are available to view at the consultation, including aesthetics insurance, qualifications, GMC registration and our photographic portfolio.

We have voluntarily registered with Save Face, have passed their inspections, and are listed as a Platinum clinic.

As a GMC doctor I will only prescribe for my patients and will only inject products I that have ordered.

All of our botulinum toxin is prescribed and delivered via cold chain from a reputable aesthetics pharmacy- MedFx.
